APWD has been established to provide more accurate, complete, and efficient assessments of prevailing wages. We seek to provide precise, thorough, incontrovertible documentation to meet or exceed our customers' expectations.

APWD provides and interprets the latest survey information. The sources of authority appealed to are published, private and public sector surveys which satisfy the criteria established by the Department of Labor. APWD selects, in every case, that survey which best accounts for the factors of education, level of responsibility, and geographic location. All being equal, we select the survey presenting the largest sample size (number of participating firms) for the given position and geographic location.

APWD avoids the use of industry-specific surveys, surveys with inadequate sample sizes, surveys reporting only median salary figures rather than weighted averages, and surveys which achieve geographic specificity through regression analysis or any other means of estimation.
